pre-planning

final arrangements

Making final arrangements for yourself or for a loved one can be a difficult experience. But pre-planning can help make it a little easier. When working with individuals and families prior to a death taking place, we ask all of the questions necessary to ensure your wishes, or those of your loved one, are fully met.

our pre-planning process is very personal and intimate

The Arrangement Process

Why make arrangements in advance?

  • Pre-planning allows your family and friends to concentrate on emotional support not - financial decisions – at the time of need.

  • You can express your wishes while including key members of your family in decision-making. By making arrangements in advance, this process takes place without the condensed timeline and often-overwhelming emotional trauma that follows a death.

  • You can fully consider and plan for costs. Pre-planning can help to reduce or eliminate an unexpected expense or financial burden later on.

What can I expect from the process?

Simply put, the pre-planning process is a very personal and intimate conversation—sometimes a series of conversations. No matter how much time you need, we’re here to listen, to provide guidance, and to answer any questions you may have.

If you know your wishes for final arrangements, we’ll discuss them in detail. If you choose to have a burial, for example, we can tour the grounds so you and your loved ones can view the different settings. We will also discuss the different types of memorial options, and what the interment process might be like.

However, it’s important to know that you don’t need to have a plan in mind. In fact, many people who we meet with haven’t thought at length about what they want, and that’s okay. Our team members can explain all the available options.

With pre-planning, there is no rush and no pressure to decide. Our goal is to ensure that you and your loved ones are comfortable and at peace with your decisions. At the end of the process, we provide copies of your plans to give to family members and/or a funeral director. But you can always change your mind. And if you do, you’ll receive a full refund.
