TRADITIONAL BURIAL
Most burials at Union Dale are performed in the traditional manner. The casket is brought to the cemetery for interment (burial). A short service is conducted at the graveside with family and friends present. The lowering device, platform and green grave coverings are included in the price.
Optional Items
TENT
A tent may be ordered by the family's designated representative or funeral director as an optional item, and is not included in the base price.
CHAPEL
Increasingly more common is the use of the chapel at the cemetery administration building. This is an optional item and may be ordered by the family's designated representative or the funeral director. The family leaves directly from the chapel after the casket is loaded into the hearse. Cemetery personnel escort the hearse to the grave and complete the burial.
